Due to the holiday on Monday and the in-service day on Tuesday, it was a very short week in school for children.
A fantastic £123.65 was raised at the bake sale on 4th May, huge thanks to the parents/carers and P.7s who were running it, to everyone who handed in baking, and to those who bought tasty treats at it.
P.3/2 visited the National Museum of Scotland of Wednesday where they were learning about the Vikings, and they also managed to fit in some learning about dinosaurs.
House meetings took place on Friday, and children were practising for the talent show at this, followed by the start of auditions.
Next week, our Primary 7s are heading off to Lagganlia for their residential experience there. Weather permitting, some other classes are planning on going out to the playground to wave them off around 9.15 a.m. Our morning 2 year olds are going to Gorgie Farm on Tuesday morning. There is a pop in cooking class on Tuesday starting at 3.20 p.m. which parents/carers are welcome to come along to with their child. P.2A and P.3A are visiting the National Museum of Scotland on Wednesday to learn some more about the Vikings. Our afternoon 2 year olds are going to Gorgie Farm on Wednesday afternoon.
Please remember that Monday 21st May is a Holiday.
