Primary 6B went on our first school trip today to the sikh gurdwara in Leith.
We had a great time learning about the link between food and religion and how important respect is for others, whilst understanding their beliefs and values.
We learned the 3 golden rules of the Sikh religion:
1) Remember God
2) Live honestly
3) Share Food, share knowledge, share time with others who are in need
We were really fortunate to try some of the food that is prepared and eaten in the gurdwara and it was really delicious.
We hope you enjoy looking through our pictures of our fantastic visit.
P1B and P6B had a wonderful Autumn walk today! We found lots of conkers and beautifully coloured leaves. Thank you to those parents who were able to join us!
The children of Primary 6B have been learning about Rainforests this term. They have created some fantastic work in class and also for their homework. They were set the challenge of creating a model of a rainforest for homework and I am overwhelmed at the results. The children have tried so hard with their creations and they should be so proud of their work.
Here are the pictures of the amazing models.
Well done Primary 6B!
It was a very exciting afternoon today when the Hibernian FC ‘Persevered Scottish Cup Trophy Tour’ visited us.
