Leith Walk Primary School’s Parent Council meets on the last Monday of every month at 6.30pm in the staff room at the school.
Free crèche provided!
Meeting are informal and offer parents an opportunity to discuss topics that affect their children, from school uniform to changes in council funding. We also raise money for the school through fundraising events, which can be lots of fun.
Meetings are only once a month and usually last an hour and a half,at most. It’s not necessary to attend every meeting in order to participate. There are loads of things that pupils and staff at the school need your help with, from weeding the eco garden to helping in the classroom, to sorting out the donations for the school fair. You can make a real difference to the school by volunteering with the Parent Council. All are welcome – we need all the help we can get!
